Dr Anna Hutchinson is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in complex presentations and physical health across the age span. She has over twenty years of research and clinical experience, having worked in a number of specialist services including eating disorders, adolescent medicine, sexual health and pain and fatigue management.
Anna spent five years as a senior psychologist based in the UK’s only child and adolescent gender service where she worked with hundreds of young people questioning their gender. She continues to work with children and families where gender is causing distress, including with those who identify as transgender and those who have desisted/detransitioned. She teaches and writes on the subject.
Anna received an MSc in Cognitive Neuropsychology in 2003, and a Doctorate in ClinicalPsychology (DClinPsy) in 2006, both from the University of London. She has postdoctoral training in systemic, cognitive behavioural and third wave therapies.
