    Anastassis Spiliadis is a qualified psychologist and psychotherapist, a registered clinical supervisor and a researcher. He is based in London, UK and in Athens, Greece. He worked for four years in the Gender Identity Development Service at the Tavistock Centre, where he established and led the first NHS Family Therapy & Consultation Service for young people and families experiencing gender dysphoria, supporting an exploratory approach. He has worked for many years as a clinician in different generic and specialist adolescent and adult mental health services, including eating disorder services, neurodevelopment services and inpatient units. He works therapeutically with individuals, couples and families across the lifespan.

    Anastassis is a PhD Psychology candidate through the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London and a Leventis Foundation Scholar, developing research in gender non-conformity / gender identity development and their relationship with eating disorders. He also holds degrees in Systemic & Family Psychotherapy (MSc) – Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London, in Psychology (MSc) – Westminster University, Organisational Management (MSc) – Imperial College London and Communication & Psychology (BA) – University of Athens.
